Aims

The aim of the World Avocado Congress 2027 is to ensure that information is shared, collaboration is strengthened, and boundaries are challenged so that the global avocado industry continues to grow to meet is full potential to the sustainable benefit of all stakeholders.

To this end, the World Avocado Congress 2027 will be a platform for:
 

• Presentation of high quality technical research in various fields relating to avocado breeding, propagation, production and post harvest handling.
• Presentation of information relevant to sustainability, marketing and activities to grow consumption of avocados.
• A trade exhibition.
• Networking and global collaboration.
• Building of friendships that will sustain the ethos of collaboration that has been built since the inception of the First World Avocado Congress in 1987.
